Why is my automatic lift gate not working?
It won’t work from either the remote or from the front button by the sunroof or from the button on the bottom of the gate. Any suggestions on where to start would be greatly appreciated. Also, is there a way to search the forums with a search engine? or do we just have to read one by one? Thanks and I appreciated it much!

It is the manual liftgate (not the automatic liftgate). A warning kept coming on saying the liftgate is open but it wasn’t. Now the warning is gone too. I am pretty sure that there is nothing stuck there either.

How to disable the power liftgate on a GM car?
