Open the doors and spray away. It will run out the bottom onto the ground so be aware. I left the doors open but it still smelled inside for a while. After trying twice the switch released and has worked since. I did put some gun oil on the latch after it freed up to try to prevent it from happening again

Door ajar light, interior light, and cargo light stay on has if a door were open when all doors are all closed. If the key is in the ignition , and the ignition is off and the doors are shut, the chime/tone continues to go off.
