Why does my truck die when I back up?
Usually when you shift into reverse and engage the brake it will cause the engine RPM to drop; as it’s creating a load against the transmission and the engine. If the engine stalls, it may be caused by a faulty idle control valve, bad O2 sensors, or clogged fuel injectors.

Hi there. For the reverse stalling condition, check the Idle Air Control Valve and see if its plugged up. If a IAC valve is plugged up, an engine will stall out when going into gear and could cause issues when slowing down. For the steering and stalling issue, check the power steering fluid and see if its low.

Is the front end of a 2006 Dodge Ram re-designed?
The front end of the 2006 was re-designed for coil over on the 2006 4X4. The dummies at Chrysler said let s use the front wheel design from a Caravan it has drive train & rack steering PERFECT!!!!
