Hesitation with TBI is sometimes a dirty Injector, make sure you have a good fan pattern on the injector and make sure its responcive. use a nylon wire brush to clean the tip, and alot of carb cleaner, also make sure that your butterfly moves freely, they tend to get gue/carbon build up on them and this will also cause a hesitation

What’s the problem with my Chevy 350 TBI ignition?

The engine runs smooth sometimes and runs horribly bad at others like it is severely out of time, backfiring through the throttle body. I replaced timing chain, injectors, tune-up and fuel pressure regulator. The mechanic changed out the computer, distributor and checked the ignition and MAP sensors. The problem persists.

Is there a lift up spring on a TBI?

Spring is known to break on them. take the torq screws out of the top of the TBI and lift up regulator is in the back check spring. ill have to check that out, new idea i havent heard yet.
