Why does my heated seat not stay on?

Seems to be a problem with the drivers side mostly, but when the drivers side has a problem it shuts both sides off. Sometimes it will stay on for a while and sometimes it just shuts off immediatly.

I don’t know if anything else is on that connector or not. You can pull the 30amp SEAT circuit breaker, but you also disable your power and memory seat features. How do you replace a heated car seat?

Once you get the replacement just put back onto the cushion, connect the wired and replace the cushion. Pull plastic back onto the metal track around the seat, reconnect the 2 block seat control connectors and screw the 5 screws back into the seat control plate and your DONE!!

A relay will “click” when a power source is run through it. They sometimes overheat and click off, which is an indicator they are failing and need to be replaced. Do you need a thermistor for a heated seat?

Where as the heated seat thermistor circuit must be working correctly before EITHER heated seat will operate. Disconnecting one thermistor, which may have a concern will not allow the opposite heated seat to work correctly, BOTH side must be operational before EITHER heated seat will operate.
