it may be coincidence but your a/c probably stops working in the afternoon because your coil gets iced up and possibly blocks the airflow. charging a system can be done at any normal operating OD temperature, not 50, like 75,85,95.

Sometimes it will go out again after 20 minutes and sometimes it will work fine for an hour + ride. I had the A/C system evacuated and charged with Freon, It wasn’t low we recovered 1lb 2oz and put back in the same amount. Where do I go from here? What do you think it could be? Re: AC works great at night,early morning. But in t UPDATE (240FeVeR) The ac works fine as long as the fan is unplugged. After you plug in the two connectors to the fan the AC will only work for a short time before it heats up the AC relay and shuts the compressor clutch down.
