How can I tell if my right turn signal is working?
Turning the right turn signal on while backprobing the light blue/yellow wire proves that the right side of the turn signal switch is working properly. The same test is done on the light blue/white wire while turning on the left turn signal. Since all tests were positive the diagnosis is a faulty combination flasher assembly.

The hazard lights don’t go through the turn signal switch, but they use the same flasher relay, so it’s highly unlikely that the turn signal switch is the culprit. Check the fuse and flasher. Check for voltage at the flasher with the hazard switch on.

Is the hazard switch on a Toyota blinker working?
Yes, the circuit for the blinkers does run through the hazard switch. I had my dash apart and had to replace the turn signal switch assembly but could not get the blinkers to work until I read this. Also verified in my Haynes manual that shows this as well.
