As for the heated seat, when the light flashes and goes off, you either have a wiring issue, open heating element, or shorted element. No lights glow on the dash switch. With no lights on, sounds like a power issue. I can’t point you towards which fuse (s) to check.
Why is my 4 wheel drive not working?
Not open for further replies. I put my truck in 4wheel drive and it doesent switch. It still powers only the rear wheels. Usually I can hear it switch over and feel it when I drive but nothing. In snow/ice only the rear wheels spin. I probably havent used 4X4 since last winter.
What makes the light come on on a 4WD?
That is what shifts the fork and also what makes the light come on. if you pull off the line closest to the passenger wheel i bet the light will come on and then just put the hose back on (if you really want to see the light)

No the switch does not light up at all. The 4X4 and LOW RANGE in the instrument cluster only light up when I start the engine and then go out like all the others. Nothing lights up when I turn the 4×4 switch.

No lights on the dash come on and I have tested and there is no power going to the motor on the t-case. Any ideas? I have tested all the fuses I could find and have switched out relays under the hood to check that, but still nada. PLEASE HELP the snow is about to fly

2006 silverado 1500. 4×4 would not engage on mine. I would receive service 4wd message on dash and 4wd switch would change light locations randomly. Changed swich and it did not fix the problem.

Why are the lights on my 05 LLY not working?
Hey guys so on my 05 lly the 4×4 is acting up. For awhile it would ocassionally give me the Service 4wd message and the lights on the switch would go out. Then it would come back.
