Where is the hitch on a Leyland tractor?

If you have not found it yet it is directly behind the seat it is a round cap and it holds the three point hitch in the up position to take the weight off the hydraulics when you are travelling with something heavy on the back .
Why are my hydraulics not working on my Leyland 270?
Sounds like an internal problem to me piston seal or cracked supply pipe. Easy enough to remove the hydraulic pack on these.
What kind of pin did Leyland hydraulics use?
Nuffield’s and early Leyland’s used a split pin to hold the connecting rod but the later Leyland’s with Position Control used a ‘Spirol’ pin (A double roll pin). Re: leyland 270 hydraulics not working but spool valve is???
Where is the selector knob on a Leyland?
There is a selector knob behind the seat on Nuffields and Leylands. It is the round lump with one flat side next to the trailer light socket it the above picture. Turn it one way for 3 point linkage, the other way to lock link arms , and to use lift lever as an extra service. Re: leyland 270 hydraulics not working but spool valve is???
