We assemble our kits from Luk manufactured components and will never substitute off-shore manufactured clutch components in our kits. We will not settle when it comes to quality.
Do you need to replace the flywheel in a clutch?
The solid flywheel replacement kit is designed to replace the entire original clutch and flywheel assembly. Solid flywheel conversions are usually less expensive than the factory dual mass flywheel and in the future only the clutch kit needs to be replaced making it a more economical option than the original equipment.
What kind of clutch do I need for a 4WD truck?
The heavy duty Dual Friction Conversion is excellent for the stock to heavily modified diesel trucks. It is an excellent choice for all loads including livestock and both 2wd and 4wd applications. The full Cerametallic Conversion is designed for heavily modified diesel trucks, preferably 4wd, used in more extreme, high torque applications.

The stock dual mass flywheel can move a little that gets rid of the vibration. There are ways to quiet it down a little though such as gorilla juice or over filling the tranny. A buddy told me if you don’t follow the break in procedure for a new clutch, it will make more noise as well.
Can a dual disk clutch cause a slip?
No slipping at all when installing a dual disk clutch set up but beware that the pedal pressure will go way up and so will the noise level from the Aluminum G56 rattling. I’m a somewhat mad at myself for not picking up one with an Automatic instead.

Single HD organic with new HD hydraulics and FW with the HD double race pilot bearing>keeps dirt out of the PB. Have to replace the oil soaked old clutch frictions and oil burnt FW + clutch plate.
