What makes Salt Lake City a tourist spot?

Utah is a tourist spot for all seasons, though it’s perhaps most famous for its winter sports activities, owing to its fine powdery snow and the 2002 Winter Olympic Games held in the state. The state is also the home of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, aka the Mormon church, headquartered in Salt Lake City.
