What to do when your transfer case gets stuck in 4WD?

The service tech looked it up and found a bulletin that says this is a cold weather issue. In order to make sure your transfer case doesn’t get stuck in 4wd like mine did, the bulletin says to always turn the transfer case switch back to 2wd and wait for the “Shift In Progress” message to disappear before turning off the ignition.
