My truck’s compression is good and I do get spark.

Gdp is probably right on and on a 1990 Chevy it’s not hard to damage a ECM but professional opinion I would change all of the tempature sensors. I have seen many cases that a faulty temp sensor will cause the ecm to add tomuch fuel think it’s colder then it really is and make it flood.

1997 chevy c1500 WT with 4.3 . getting harder to re crank.. Only driveable with both stop revving to keep it going. And that still doesnt work well. Work ive done. New cap and rotor. Cleaned…. Exh gas.
