The Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) Program is a federal program established under the Trade Adjustment Assistance Reauthorization Act of 2015 that provides aid to workers who lose their jobs or whose hours of work and wages are reduced as a result of increased imports.

The TAA Program is a required One-Stop partner under the WIOA statute and regulations. As a WIOA required partner, the TAA Program is responsible for providing access to TAA benefits and services to adversely affected workers through the AJC network.

TAA pays for tuition, fees, necessary supplies, needed books. TRA will also pay for a student to get bi-weekly benefits when unemployment is exhausted. TRA students do have a limit on the amount of money that each student can charge for books and supplies for the total time they attend college.
