Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) provides a means for traditionally underserved, low-income students to obtain admission to NYU and to receive academic and financial support during their course of study at the University.

  1. Must be first-time college students.
  2. Must have graduated from high school with a 4-year average between 70 and 84.5, or have earned a GED or a vocational diploma.
  3. Must meet the economic guidelines for freshman eligibility (See guidelines below).

*Please note, HEOP is not a scholarship given to individual students, but a grant awarded to selected independent colleges and universities. Students cannot apply to HEOP through NYSED’s website.
