What is a IDM?

IdM is an abbreviation for “Identity Management,” i.e., management of user accounts. “IdM is the security discipline that enables the right individuals to access the right resources at the right times and for the right reasons.”

Is the IDM on my Ford 2000 still working?

Now it just cranks, good volts, pcm signal, oil pressure, it’s deff getting fuel at the bowl. The valve cover harness on both sides is all good. But I don’t think the injectors are firing. I took the plug off the IDM and it is getting power from the relay. The IDM is all corroded on the outside but looks okay on the inside.

Why does my 2000 IDM have a 7.3?

I’m thinking it’s the IPR valve or IDM Had a 7.3 in the shop the other day that was running on passenger side cylinders only. Wouldn’t pull it’s own weight much less a trailer. Also had no oil out of the driver side injectors.

Is the IDM on a Ford Power Stroke?

Parts store sensors really do not work on powerstrokes. I also have no oil spitting from any injectors while cranking. So it is pointing towards the IDM. I have checked both harnesses and they look good.

Can a used IDM burn up a new IDM?

The used IDM ran the truck perfectly. We also checked the UVCH to verify that we were not going to burn up a new IDM by overlooking bad connections to the injectors. Your problem sounds quite possibly IDM related.
