Why are the lights not working on my Ford Focus?

I have a mk3 that has an overhead console lighting panel incorporating sunglasses holder and the 2 alarm sensors, the red strip lights were working and then I noticed they now won’t come on – any ideas? Thank you for your reply – unfortunately I have tried the menus but nothing.
