What does it mean when your brake and battery light is on?
The battery light will come on when the event that the battery is no longer being charged. The ‘E’ brake (parking brake) light comes on when the fluid is low in the master cylinder or there is a pressure difference in the brake system. The battery light indicates a battery charging problem.

The brake light as I mentioned, is the brake light in the instrument cluster, which would typically come on when the e-brake is applied. If I pull the e-brake, it actually makes the brake light a bit brighter. The brake fluid is at the correct level. I’m going to pull the alternator and bring it in to have it tested.
