Gr8bawana is right, you will need to either pull the AC pulley or unbolt it and move it out of the way. As far as I know, the only two things you can replace on the AC units are the clutch and the whole pump, no bearing replacement without replacing the pump.

How can I get my Dodge Ram compressor to run?
As for getting the compressor running, just remove the connector for the low pressure switch and install a jumper between the two pins in the connector. This will trick the system into thinking there is refrigerant in the system. It’s a lot easier to do that then hot wiring the compressor.
