Is the Strand Bookstore as good as Powell’s?

The Strand is almost as good as Powell’s in Portland, but it more expensive. I guess that’s because of NYC rent, otherwise it’s the same top notch new and secondhand book selection which in a book superstore which every great city should have. Really enjoyed my time here and left with half a dozen books. Don’t be in a rush during your visit. Enjoy!
