On the drivers side of the trans is a rounded cover. Pry it off, it is just pressed on, and pull out the governor. It is common for the nylon gear at the end to get stripped, when this happens you will not be able to shift out of first gear.

If the boost valve is fubar, you should still get at least baseline pressure around 60psi. edit. Just thought of something. There is a filter that goes in the side of the stator support of the pump. If you left it out, it wont make pressure either.
