Is a straight pipe a DPF Delete?

Straight pipe means the exhaust consists of only straight through exhaust pipe… Meaning, no cats/dpf and no mufflers. When buying straight pipe exhaust it’s usually called a turboback with no muffler. A delete pipe is an exhaust pipe to replace/”delete” an exhaust emissions component or muffler.

Does DPF affect exhaust sound?

As far as sound with a dpf back exhaust, not waste your money. I did it and there was no change in sound or performance. Like said above. As long as the DPF, Nox filter, and the Catalytic converter stay in place, there is no need for any kind of tuner for codes and such.
