What kind of glue can you put in a lock?
Graphite is. Acetone is for dissolving super glue (cyanoacrylate), but if you’re finding stickiness, that isn’t super glue. Acetone is highly flammable. I’d be careful about spraying it into a lock. Maybe a can of electronic contact cleaner would get the gumminess out.
Can you use super glue on a chip?
Super Glue???? If the superglue soaked in and blocked any of the passages the chip is pretty much ruined as far as I am concerned. I would stay away from it. Hey Coister- Yea- the super glue went every where in the damaged area!! Thanks for the advice! That was my first thought but almost did it (with their approval) to see what happened.
