Which is better Glock 43 or M&P Shield?

In my opinion, the Glock seems to have a better feel and be of a higher overall quality than the Smith and Wesson M&P Shield. They’re both polymer, striker-fired handguns with nitrided slides, so there’s not a ton of difference between them, but the Glock texturing on the frame just seems to add value over the Shield.

Is the shield still a good gun?

The gun has quite a bit of recoil, not a ton of recoil but it’s a small snappy gun. You can definitely still shoot it well, but it’s not an exceptional performer that just stands out amongst the crowd. The heavy trigger pull is something you’ll have to work over and the ergonomics may or may not work for you.

Are shield and shield 2.0 magazines the same?

Magazines and holsters for the original Shield 9mm and the new Model2. 0 appear to be interchangeable. The only perceptible difference in the 2.0 magazine is that the 8 round mag has stippled surface that matches the new more aggressive grip on the Shield 2.0.

Which M&P Shield is best?

S&W M&P Shield M2. 0: The Most Popular Smith & Wesson 9mm For CCW. The S&W M&P Shield 9mm M2. 0 takes everything that’s great about the Shield and adds a few improvements.

Is M&P better than Glock?

The Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 Compact was the first gun on the market to match the Glock 19 in overall size. There are a lot of guns that came close, but none were the exact same size as the Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 Compact….Size.

How good is the S&W shield?

The Smith Wesson M&P Shield has decent overall ergonomics. It doesn’t feel the best in the hand compared to more modern options mainly due to the fact it feels like a full-size duty-grade gun that was just thinned down. Some people will like it and if you have larger hands, I think you’ll like it a lot.
