It has a 5.7 Hemi MDS in it. 55mph, in 8th gear, knocking down the big MPG numbers….but only turning over 1300-1400 RPM. Anything less than 55mph it refuses high gear (even on an easy downhill coast). I wonder if that is as-designed in the PCM specifically to keep the RPMs up above a minimum requirement for lubrication?
