Yesterday I replaced the battery in my wife’s 2014 Escape SE 2.0 I accessed through the air box and the replacement was uneventful. The terminals were very clean and no corrosion was evident.

2013 SEL. At 80,000kms (48,000 miles) my battery up and died. Would not hold a charge. I have reviewed several threads and still don’t have a clear answer. When replacing the battery is the dealer needed to do some kind of reset or not?
