How hard is it to change a turbo actuator on a 2006 Dt 466. Did anyone do one?? Anyone have any instruction files. thanks No to hard but, you Gotta be mechanically inclined.Remove the fender, and the air box.

Why did my Turbo actuator go out on my DT570?

My actuator was fry because my turbo was seized up from the inside dued to coolant leak into EGR cooler and down to turbo. The VTA (Variable Turbo Actuator) went out on my DT570 at about 50,000 miles. Of coarse IH gave some BS reason why it wasnt’t covered under warranty.

Do you need to remove Fender for Turbo actuator?

No to hard but, you Gotta be mechanically inclined.Remove the fender, and the air box. Turbo Actuator is a plug and play unit if you take the whole package (remove the turbo assembly and its heavy) outside it will be easy to work on. To make room for the job….Fender and airfilter box need to be remove.
