How to Remove Equinox Headrests
- Push the button around the headrest base and raise the headrest. This should make visible a small hole around the plastic base.
- Straighten a paper clip small enough to enter the hole. Insert the paper clip as far as it will go.
- Pull up on the headrest to remove it from the seat.
How do you lower the seat in a 2018 Chevy Equinox?
To adjust the seat position:
- Pull the handle at the front of the seat cushion to unlock it.
- Move the seat forward or rearward and release the handle.
- Try to move the seat back and forth to be sure it is locked in place.
