Thee should be a simple command that if you discover a part that is connected to large assembly or frame and you need to separate it, that you just simply click “Remove from Assembly” or if you need to add a part to an existing frame you simply click “Add to assembly”.

Can you add a part to an assembly?
There really needs to be a command that allows the user to add a part to an assembly or remove a part from an assembly. I realize you can use a weld or bolt (s) to form an assembly but in my case I will sometimes create an assembly of 20 to 30 or more parts using 1 dummy weld. This is how I create large frames with many parts.
