Crawl under the dashboard and aim the flashlight on the top of the brake pedal where the brake booster push rod connects to the brake pedal itself. Insert the blade of the flat-head screwdriver into the clip. Twist the handle of the screwdriver so that the clip spreads out. Push the clip up until it pops free.
Where is the Power Brake Booster pedal clip?
There is a small clip on the brake pedal that holds the Brake Switch and the Power Brake Booster to the pin on the pedal. I recently had the pleasure of disconnecting that clip when I replaced my Power Brake Booster. The clip alone took me a good hour and a half to remove.
