Does battery terminal affect power?

A faulty battery terminal affects your vehicle’s performance directly. Electrical power flows from the battery to power your starting and electrical systems via the battery cable. Is the hazard light blinking on my focus?

– Even though the car is completely dead, when the hazard light is pushed a clicking sound is heard from the dash, but the outside lights are not blinking. This is the only electrical response I can get from the car, until it is hooked up to another via jumper cables or the car is jumped. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Chris……………….
