What kind of mower will go into gear but won’t move?

I have a Poulan riding mower with a 46″ cut. When I engage the clutch I can place the mower in either forward or reverse but when I release the clutch the mower won’t move. I have done several searches and one suggestion has been the transaxle pully, I wanted to see if there was other opinions.

Im able to run through all the gears and go from forward to reverse without having to use the clutch… however when i press in the clutch it feels that it gives the normal resistance. Im at a loss right now and any ideas would be appreciated!

Why is the power shift not working on my Tractor?

It is a way to drive the transmission incorporating a torsional damper into the drive,( In the clutch disk the center of the disk with the splines for the shaft is actually driven by heavy springs, the springs take up the shock of a “power shift”). Either the clutch facing is worn or the center is out of the clutch.
