Forgot about reversing sensors on my Galaxy. At the mo it seems to make them go nuts. Of course, you’ve got to turn them off each time you reverse. Bit annoying because it means no reversing sensors now. Any idea if theres any way to turn off the inside sensors only? Or how easy to convert existing tow bar to removable one?

Mine, which uses the proper can-bus interface unit for the towing electrics, turns the reverse sensor off when towing and adjusts its system when solo to take account of the tow ball being there and its sticking out a bit more. Have you tried blue tack to mask the ball from the inner pair of sensors?

Mine are self learning and settled down after a while . The sensor are usually powered by the reversing light circuit and if a towbar electrics are fitted correct the reversing lights on the car should not work if a trailer is attached so the reversing sensors should not work . Bit of a bad idea on my part I think to have a normal tow bar fitted.
