Can you do a police Ride Along UK?

You must be at least 18 years old to take part in a Ride Along. All applicants will be subject to local and criminal intelligence checks. A recorded offence will not automatically exclude you from taking part in the scheme; each applicant will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Can anyone do a Ride Along?

Nottinghamshire Police is pleased to introduce a public ‘Ride Along’ scheme which is open to members of the public who reside in the county. This scheme has been launched to allow us to give members of the community the opportunity to see how we work, as well as ensuring that what we do as a police service is open to scrutiny and feedback.

Unfortunately, the Ride Along Scheme is not running due to the Coronavirus pandemic and we are not currently accepting applications. Our ride along scheme enables you to experience first-hand what your local officers are dealing with on a daily basis.
