Why is the sync screen blank on my Ford F150?

I bought it in January 2013 and the screen would often have vertical white lines, but I could still read what was displayed. Yesterday the screen was blank when I started the truck. Everything else seems to work: It plays just fine and I can use the radio/FM/phone buttons and the radio station select presets.
