Have a EL falcon and in the last 2mths ive had the ignition coil go twice and i believe its about to go again. leading up to the coil going, the car begins to run rough, almost like its missing, especially when u put ur foot down. Its now running rough again.

Simply solution.Replace the pulgs and replace the spark plug leads-faulty leads that look very powdered up will crossfire and earth out under load and cause the ignition coil to fail.This is very common.If the leads are left in the sad state when ever you fit a new coil it wont belong till it fails again due to the faulty leads.
