Nopics has a 2007 Ford Territory RWD non turbo. It has the smart charging alternator, and its giving me the shits. Just replaced the battery as it was getting hard to start and the CCA was down a fair way. So new Silver Calcium Battery goes in, and after a couple of days its hard to start again.

As you can see in the Start Up / Idle Mode: the Actuators (phasers) are in the locked position (spring load) until the throttle is cracked open & the engine revs hit 1000RPM. So it may be possible that something electronic is reset with that procedure, but I don’t know how it is resetting the phasers.
Why is the radio not working on my 2013 Ford Territory?
The radio won’t turn off and drained the battery overnight. Tried the pull the fuse tip and also disconnected the battery to try a reset. That all didn’t work so took it to the dealer who reset it on the spot. Unfortunately, they didn’t ask for details but the fix was free of charge. Have the same problem with my 2013 territory. Out of warranty.
