After installing my dash appeared transmission malfunction service now, prior to this I had no issues other than my purge control valve has went out twice. I called the dealership and he immediately stated the battery dying caused the transmission control module to burn out and that it is a common issue.

Unlikely that the battery and transmission would fail at the same time. But it is a Fiesta Go grab a new battery. Head to the local autoparts store, some will swap them for free with purchase. If not, it’s a pretty straight forward swap. I was able to do it with a single socket and 1/4 inch impact driver for the whole thing.

I have a 2017 Ford Fiesta and my battery seems to be drained out as I am unable to unlock my car using the Key fob.Worrying there is no way to manually use the key and enter the Car .
