Ok, I know the fact the car goes BEEP BEEP when I lock it (manually, not with a fob) means I have a door open, more specificly the sensor on my boot latch is gone. I recently purchased a new key fob and have been locking the car with the remote – it still goes BEEP BEEP but I realised yesterday it is not locking it when I thought it was!
Is there a remote lock that does not Beep?
A guy over on the W203 forum solved his by re-soldering the contacts: My CLK has never beeped when locking/unlocking the doors remotely. All the required lights flash 3 times, but no beeps.

Problem: Over the past few days, my MY11 LR4 emits the two brief Euro-sounding alert beeps a few seconds after I leave the vehicle and press the lock button on the key fob. How can I get my key fob to lock my door?
To switch between the two options, press both lock and unlock buttons for four seconds when the indicators will flash twice to show it done. With either arrangement, one press of the lock button will single lock it and set the basic alarm. two presses will double lock and set the inclination alarm and internal volume sensing alarm (If fitted).
Is there a beep on the door lock?
You should hear electronic beep on the second press of the lock button, not a horn beep, this is the “Honda Way” unlike some manufactures which use a horn beep. Mine works that way and I do not recall any mention of a way to change or disarm this function in the manual. You should have a beep on the second push.

Why do I get a double beep when I lock the car?
In the last couple of days I’d noticed that after double locking the car (using the keyless lock buttons on the handle) after a few seconds I’d get a double beep. It seems to have got a lot worse today and after a bit of testing it seems that the driver’s door isn’t actually locking properly – maybe this is telling the car there’s an error?
