Why does my BA Falcon not do reverse?
Fine when cold, but after about 60 mins of driving it sort of surged on/off into reverse, but it got there (slowly). Now after a 250km trip it just revs out, and doesn’t engage reverse at all. Forward gears have been fairly fine. I had a crawl under there, and on the LHS there is a plug where the shifter mechanism goes.
Why does my Ford BF Falcon not start?
Hi Guys, this is my first post here and hoping someone can help me out. I’ve a 2007 Ford BF Falcon Ute and it currently won’t start, lights come on when turning accessories and ignition, however nothing occurs when I turn to ignition.
How can I check if my reverse light is working?
To check the reverse switch is working correctly, turn the ignition on and select reverse gear. Connect one side of the test lamp to earth and probe each terminal in turn. The switch should illuminate when each terminal is touched. One of the most common problems is a blown bulb.
Can a bad light switch cause a car to go in reverse?
If the switch shorts internally, this may cause the lights to stay on permanently. This will not only be a problem in that it will make the vehicle appear that it is in reverse gear when it is not, but it will also cause the bulbs to burn out much more rapidly than they normally would. 3. Reverse lights fail to come on at all
