If the C6 is the same as the C6Z06 there is only 1 fan instead of 2 on the C5s. Also there is some type of fan control module etc. on the lower back pass. side of the radiator. So I think the system design is different than the C5s with 2 fans. The owner’s manual shows only 1 cooling fan fuse # 25.

While that’s great for future Z06 owners, it doesn’t fix current Z06 owners’ overheating woes. According to a note sent to Autoblog, it appears Chevy will make the new parts “relatively straightforward” replacement parts for owners of previous model years.

Looking at the C5 schematic, there is no one fuse that would disable both fans. If any one of the 3 fuses blows, at least one fan can still be energized. Assuming the C6 is similar, I’d recommend you check the Fan wiring harness connectors.
