He then asked me to “turn the key to see if it will start” I was standing outside the car. I reached in turned the key and the car started and drove through a closed gate and hit a tree.
What’s the best way to troubleshoot a Ford BF?
My next step I think is to bridge the ignition terminal on the solenoid to the positive terminal on the starter motor and see if it cranks – am I right in thinking that if that provides power and cranks the engine that the issue in the ignition line somewhere? If so, how would the best way to attack this be?
