How do you change the fuel filter on a Cummins?
After changing the filter you will have to purge the air from the system. Maybe not, our ISC self purges with no trouble. Just turn on the ignition switch, that turns on the electric pump and fills the filter. You might have to repeat it. Oh yes, DON’T leave the petcock open on the bottom of the filter. It can spill a LOT of fuel in a short time.
