What does a WD my Cloud red light mean?
WD My Cloud Red Light This is generally an indicator that the NAS has failed to initialize it’s internal software. In some cases it can be due to failed electronics, however most often it’s due to bad hard drives. At this point, if you need your data back, there is nothing more you can do with the drives in the enclosure.
Why is my power LED light always red?
This morning when I got up I noticed the power LED light was a constant red (not flashing). I can’t find anything wrong, I can log onto the system just fine. I did a test both on system and hard drives and both tests passed. I have the 12 TB system using RAID 1, when I logon to the system it says I have 128 gig left
