Is there an issue with my Ford EL?
My Ford EL has a strange engine issue. (Please no ford jokes, heard them all already) My engine used to idle very smooth. Then one day I noticed the engine idle was almost like it had little surges on idle like the engine would keep surging every few seconds (Cutting out). Still runs fine though but now its gotten worse.
Why did my Ford Falcon engine go dead?
Couple of weeks ago I was driving out of Geelong and the engine went dead. Right outside the Ford factory strangely enough! Turning the key activated the stereo, but the starter motor wouldn’t even crank. Anyways RACV guy came and had a fiddle with the battery, fuses etc.
Why does my EL Falcon engine not start?
EL Falcon wont start Thanks for the response, ill pull the BCM out tomorrow and give it the once over. I assumed that since the smartlock light went out, the fuel pump works, the engine turns over and i have a spark the BCM is ok but it could be faulting during the cranking process so ill check that out. Other than that im ata loss.
What did I do when my EL Falcon stopped?
EL Falcon stopped a couple of days ago, just died and had to be towed home. Will crank but not fire. I replaced the fuel filter, before tightening the filter i turned on the ignition and fuel sprayed out. This tells me that fuel pump is ok and pressure is good.

What to do if your Falcon has no power?
I have seen this several times on BA/BF Falcons. If you have some experience and are handy with soldering, then you can remove and repair your switch and save couple of hundred as a new switch is not a cheap part.
