when headlights are on trailer signals will not work,but work fine when lights off. Next I would check the ground connection of the trailer lights. Usually they are grounded through the mounting bolts for the lights.

The running lights on the trailer last about 5-10 minutes, and then the truck fuse blows. I thought it may have been just a bad fuse, so I replaced with a new one. Started down the road, and 10 minutes in, it blew again.
