Hello everybody,i have a 2000 International 4700.. The Gauges and tach and speedo work intermently..I read once about a fix for it..Any body have any ideas..I believe it involved soldering something on the circuit board..I just plugged my Solder Gun in..LOL..Any help would be appreciated..Thanks Anybody?

My brother has a 95 ( I think ) 4700 that had instrument cluster snafu problems. I believe it was related to the harness connections to the cluster. After several removal & re-installation sessions looking for a problem, it started behaving & has not messed up since. You might check with a local speedo shop for other ideas. Good luck.
How did I Fix my International 4700 instrument cluster problem?
I just fixed my dash last week on my 99. It was the solder joint on the circuit board for the main center wire plug. I just touched the contacts with the solder gun and just a little solder and it cleared it right up. I had ran onto a U tube video that went through and explain it all very well.
Where is Hamp’s speedometer service in Alpharetta GA?
He did find a speedo shop in Alpharetta GA (Atlanta suburb) called ” Hamp’s Speedometer Service ” that quoted him $150-$200 to fix his circuit board if he shipped him the cluster assy., my brother paying the freight bill. The street address escapes me but the speedo shop man’s name is Hamp Smith.
