Is there a problem with the Ford Escape stereo?

The dealership told me it will be $600 for a new radio module — they are ordering the part but are only “80 percent sure” that is the fix.

Ok so…update. Pulled fuse 67 (made MUCH easier by the discovery of the fuse pullers in the engine fuse box!), it was fine, not blown. Put it back in, tried turning car on and still no display. Next I disconnected the negative wire on the battery, left it off for a minute and reconnected.
