Where is the ESP located on a Ford Focus?

HI, the ESP is built into the ABS control unit, which is attached to the HCU. (hydraulic control unit) The esp is activated by the YAW RATE SENSOR AND ACCELEROMETER. This is a module situated under the right hand front seat. From looking on Fords technical dealer website, both the ST and the RS Focus are both supplied with the Teves MK60 system.

Why is my focus St ESP not working?

With the MAF unplugged it may either default to MAP reading only for fuelling or to a default safe state which would be rich. So it may be that unplugging the MAF makes it run better but not be the cause of the issue. Checked for any intake air leaks etc?
