When to replace low beam headlamps with HIDS?
With todays low-beams being used for DRLs like in my Silverado, HIDs make more sense and usually you can get 5-8 years out of the bulbs. If they are hard to replace then even more reason to go with HIDs. If you drive in commuter traffic for 10000 miles then the OE bulbs probably have reached their useful life anyway.
